Rebuilding Bricks Information
What are we building?
We are building a beautifully designed, professionally constructed, engraved brick pedestal for the church bell that will be located in the front lawn of the church.
What can I have written on the brick?
You may purchase your own personalized brick to commemorate, honor or remember loved ones and friends. You may want to add a scripture verse or a spiritual thought. All inscriptions, as well as logos, must be approved by our church. Each brick has enough space for 3 lines with 16 characters and spaces centered on each line.
What is the size and cost of a brick?
Each brick is 4 X 8 and costs $100.00. A list of available logos is available at the church or at the brick logo choices link on this page. If you choose a logo that is NOT on the available list there will be an extra charge of $25.00. All logos must be approved by our church.
How do I purchase a brick?
Order forms are available at the church, from church members or on this page via the link to your left. A form must be filled out for each brick ordered. We accept cash and checks. Full payment is required before the purchase of your brick. Checks should be made out to “First Baptist Church of Murphy”. In the memo area of the check please write “Brick Building Fund”.
Is the “Brick Building Fund” considered a charitable donation?
Yes, the church will provide you a receipt at the end of the tax year for your tax records.
How will you use the money that is raised?
The money raised will go to fund the completion of the reconstruction of this historic church building.
