Serving Others

At the 9th Annual Murphy Maize Days in Murphy Central Park at 550 N. Murphy Road in Murphy on September 30, 2017, we will partner with Murphy Chamber Scholarship Foundation to raise money for college scholarships. Our booth will be the “Pumpkin Pull.”  Each child can pick a pumpkin for $1 to win a prize. You can help by donating new toys (stuffed animals, hot wheel cars, yo-yo’s, any small to medium sized toys). Also, volunteers will be needed on that day in our booth from 10 am – 5 pm. Our booth will have an FBCM sign, a guess jar for prizes, and we will pass out church information and fall festival invites. Bring your new toys to the church prior to the event and contact the church office to volunteer to work in the booth.

operation christmas child

Since 1993, more than 100 million boys and girls in over 130 countries have experienced God’s love through the power of simple shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child. Samaritan’s Purse works with local churches and ministry partners to deliver the gifts and share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ.
Join us as we collect shoe boxes in this annual project of evangelism and discipleship.

This year’s filled shoeboxes should be brought to the church by Sunday, November 12.
