operation christmas child

Since 1993, more than 100 million boys and girls in over 130 countries have experienced God’s love through the power of simple shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child. Samaritan’s Purse works with local churches and ministry partners to deliver the gifts and share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ.
Join us as we collect shoe boxes in this annual project of evangelism and discipleship.
In 2015 FBC Murphy donated 52 boxes!

2016 Operation Christmas Child boxes are due November 13!
Savvy shoppers are shopping for school supplies during the back-to-school sales because they make great additions to your shoebox donation. Collection bins are in the foyer along with lists of items needed.  You can bring a filled box or just items to add to the boxes and we will fill them. Remember that each box must include $7 shipping costs so please include that in your box. If you would like to make a monetary donation to the church for items or postage, please write your check to FBC Murphy and put in the memo, SHOEBOXES.  Thank you!

Canned Good drive for the Amazing Grace Food Pantry
The FBC Murphy Women’s Ministry needs your help collecting canned goods for the Amazing Grace Food Pantry in Wylie. Some of women visited the pantry a few weeks ago and learned more about the pantry and it’s current needs. We asked them what they needed most and they said…CANNED GOODS! We will be collecting canned goods for them again this fall, watch for more information.
