Malachi 3:10 (ESV) “Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”

There are a variety of ways to give at FBC Murphy. IN PERSON: You can give in person during one of our worship services at our giving kiosks. MAIL: You can also give by mailing your tithe and/or offering to: FBC Murphy, 800 North Murphy Road, Murphy, TX 75094. ONLINE: You may also give online by following the instructions below.

You may give to First Baptist Church Murphy using the secure form below by following these steps:

1. Register for a new account or log in using the account you have already created.

2. Enter the amount you would like to give and choose a frequency for the gift.

3. In the Donor Details section enter your information.

4. In the Payment Details section enter your Credit Card or E-Check information.

5. Click Give Now when you want to complete the transaction.

6. Thank you! You will receive an email confirmation of your gift.

Why We Give?

As a church, we value every disciple maturing and being a devoted steward of their time, treasures, and talents to multiply disciples and expand God’s kingdom. We express our faith and love to Him by honoring Him as the source of everything we have. Scriptural giving is performed with regularity, from the first portion of all we are given, as a proportion of our income, cheerfully, and without pressure or manipulation.

What is Tithing?

Tithing is our starting place in giving. The Bible teaches us about a baseline standard for giving: the tithe (a word that literally means a “tenth”). When we give the first 10% of our income through the local church, we put God first in our lives. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for God, the local church, and others. God also encourages us to give offerings beyond our tithe to specific projects at our local church and to other organizations and causes that we as a church support.
